Suffice it to say I got a bit side-tracked from the blog design and setup for one reason or another and am now banging out a post mostly for the purpose of troubleshooting while enjoying the wonders of wireless internet in the countryside. I’m extremely pleased that I finally figured out a way to use my photos of this fellow over here, whose half-hearted gropings for snack I spied through a fence at the Tompkins Square Park doggy run last fall. I can typically be found on the 35 lb-and-under side, peering with borderline-creepy-but-generally-harlmess longing at the frisking puppies and their enviable sweater/booties/collar ensembles. But put a pirate costume on one and I’m smitten.

I expect to have another design shortly, but “sad puppy” will have to serve, for now…
